Blast from the Past with a Theme Latin Supper Club. Looking for a fun, new twist on an old-school party?
Follow our lead with a Supper Club-theme, like Events & Logistics recent event at The Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood. Our event took place at The Landing, which offers a picture-perfect setting with towering palm trees and the beautiful Intracoastal as the backdrop. It’s quite the boat show with yachts regularly cruising by your table.
The Supper Club-theme is a throwback to the 1950’s, when the “Rat Pack” would croon the night away at lounges from Miami to Vegas, and it allows guests to travel back in time for a night of vintage glamour. The colors, red and silver, took centerstage throughout the evening — from lighting to décor.
Guests were greeted with a dramatic entrance — red lights highlighted the bridge that connects the resort with The Landing, and opulent silver chandeliers hung from the bridge’s ceiling. Sheer curtains were draped high above the crowd to create even more drama.
Since furniture can transform any event, we created different vignettes throughout the space, where people could dine, sip and lounge. There were stylish, mirrored dining tables with etching on the sides, along with matching mirrored bars.
Red roses in floating centerpieces and beaded candle holders, along with deep-red lamp shades, dotted tabletops.
We offered a variety of seating in different heights to make the areas more visually interesting, with silver-back design chairs adorned with leather cushions, and high-back white royal chairs.
We also lit up the The Landing’s fountain for extra elegance, along with gobos of the client’s logo (That’s why we’re here, right? To promote our client’s fabulous event!)
For added character, Ricky and Lucy look-alikes (from the iconic “I Love Lucy” show of the 50’s) wandered through the crowd, taking pictures with guests.
A woman dressed in a Tropicana-themed costume rolled cigars for guests, elaborately-dressed dancers kicked up their heels, and the horns from the orchestra kept the party hopping!
