When we think of activities to do in South Florida, we think of a few things such as Art Deco Tours, Catamaran Cruises and the Everglades. What may not have been considered is having your guests participate in an Everglades Night Tour via Airboat!
As the afternoon comes to a close, your guests will walk the islands where the native Miccosukee clans lived. Your guests will then experience an airboat ride as they get up close and personal with the Florida alligators. They will peer in amazement when the search lights shoot across the water to reveal hundreds of red eyes staring back at them.
The airboat seats on this Everglades Night Tour are set up high so there is a good visual. This tour consists of a 90-minute guided airboat tour. This tour is guided by members of the Miccosukee family that has lived in the area for generations. The airboat tour stops at two tress islands. As a side note, all animals seen on the tour are either wild or being raised to replenish endangered species in the area. There are no caged animals for display, we are PETA friendly.
Known throughout the world for its abundant bird life, the Everglades is home to several species of large wading birds such as the roseate spoonbill, the wood stork, the great blue heron and a variety of egrets. This is a must see either by day or night that attracts thousands for tourist a year.
