Locating the perfect ballroom space in South Florida – Finding the ultimate solution for your hotel requirements for an upcoming event or program can be difficult. South Florida has expanded in many ways with the various hotels popping up, it seems every month. To name a few properties, the Thompson, The One and The Edition which are all beautiful and one- of-a kind hotels, and they also feature various ballroom shapes and sizes.
Finding the perfect ballroom space can be a challenge based on your group size and requirements. You may love the hotel property but the ballroom space and break-out rooms are not the perfect fit. Or perhaps the ballroom works for meeting space but not your functions in the evening. There are some great alternatives, for instance in Miami, Events & Logistics recently converted a local (and walkable from The Delano Hotel) art museum into a general session space which accommodated three breakouts as well. We turned the Bass Art Museum, that specializes in art from around the world from the Renaissance to modern art, into the perfect meeting space.
For another group we were able to transform the Lobby of a hotel into a ballroom, complete with a cocktail reception, amazing food prepared by the chef and a flamenco trio.
Next time that ideal ballroom is booked…sometimes it helps to get creative and see what other options may be right under your nose.
