We begin the tour which is only accessible by airboat and travel 14 miles into the Everglades to experience a historic Miccosukee Island Camp.
Your guests will walk the island our guide’s family called home to hear how the Miccosukee families learned to live in harmony for generations in what many considered an unlivable landscape. Watch in wonder as Great Blue Herons, Egrets, Woodstorks and Ibis come home to roost as we travel into the true heart of the Florida Everglades
After the tour and talk is concluded they board an airboat to search for some of the Everglades’ most famous residents, the Florida Alligator and other creatures of the “swamp”. This trip is steeped in rich tradition and is an unforgettable look into areas that are still unmarked by change and development.
On the way back , your guests will stop in for a Cuban lunch, stop over to a cigar shop and enjoy a quick visit to Domino Park before heading back to their hotel.
